    Description

    Here is a Antique French Model 1892 Rifle Bayonet measuring 20-1/2" overall with a blade length of 15-3/4".  Blade shows some scattered pitting near the front area with age patina, wear, use, handle grips show some cracks by the rivets, excellent working press-stud, all tight with no looseness on bayonet. Two circular cartouches on the ricasso area of blade.  Serial number A9822 matches on the bayonet and on the scabbard! Scabbard has a gray silver patina, shows a ding and a couple of nicks.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
