    Description

    Antique French M1886 Rifle Lebel Bayonet with scabbard.  Bayonet measures 25-1/4" overall with a quadrangular blade length of 20-1/2". Bayonet shows age patina, wear, use, the blade has dry black grease that needs to be removed, comes off pretty easy, once cleaned the blade looks very good with no chips or rust.  Non matching no.'s. Scabbard looks good with a strip of that grease on it. Scabbard is dent free.  Nice working press-stud ejector, see photos for further details, clarification, and condition.  A nice antique piece.
