  • Condition: Blade in very nice condition with just a few minor marks. Scabbard is in good condition but is covered with surface rust. Serial numbers on bayonet and scabbard do not match.

    Description

    FRENCH M1874 GRAS RIFLE BAYONET WITH SCABBARD. Good marking on the top of the blade Etienne 1876 etc. Serial numbers do not match. On the bayonet is 52081 and on the scabbard it is 78108. Also on the tip of the scabbard is number 3. Blade length is 20 1/2 inches and total length with scabbard is 26 inches. Blade in nice condition with a few minor marks. Scabbard does have surface rust but otherwise is in good condition.
    I am not a sword / bayonet expert. The description above may not be accurate but I have tried to do my best in researching this. I have inherited about 10 swords / bayonets that I will be listing on eBay. I have tried to research these but leave it to you to judge my description.
