    Description

    Antique French M1874 Rifle Bayonet measuring 25-1/2" long overall with a blade length of 20-1/2".  Very good condition overall with brown age patina, wear throughtout. Great working press-stud ejector, all tight with no looseness. Blade is smooth with no damage to edge. Cartouches on both sides of ricasso area of blade. Matching serial numbers, "G71768" on bayonet and scabbard.  Spine of blade marked with St. Etienne Armory 1876.   See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.  A beauty.
